Biography

Kanie Ghaderi is an emerging actor who trained in the Acting for Film and Digital Media Program at Niagara College. She has appeared in a variety of film and performance projects including, “The Collected Pieces of Eleanor Ross”, as well as principal roles in “Jerry Maguire” (Excerpt) and “Tongue Tied”.


With a strong background in gymnastics, figure skating, and cheerleading, Kanie brings a high level of athleticism, discipline, and body awareness to her work. She is also musically trained in piano and flute, and has experience in stunts and stage combat. Fluent in Farsi, Kurdish, French Canadian, and Italian, she offers a wide range of versatility both physically and linguistically.


 Kanie studied the Meisner acting technique with Lori Ravensborg and Stephanie Jones, along with voice, movement, and stage combat under industry professionals. Her experience spans to stage as well, including productions such as “One Night Stand”, “Hadestown”, and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, where she further refined her presence and storytelling abilities.


Outside of acting, Kanie has a deep personal connection to her cat, who she considers her best source of comfort and joy. She is passionate about travelling and enjoys spending time outdoors, embracing new environments and experiences that continue to inspire her creativity. Driven, expressive, and deeply committed to her craft, Kanie is focused on building a career in film and television.
